Project Description
When I was in college, I used to walk my way back home with my bestfriend Jui every day. We used to sit in this tiny tea stall near our campus. I'm someone who doesn’t like tea but the tea was just an excuse to be honest, I didn’t mind tolerating that extremely sweet tea if it meant we could stay there a bit longer and talk some more. The seller there was a kind lady and she used to leave two seats for us and made sure we never felt uncomfortable.
Sitting on that tea stall and hanging out with my best friend for hours was one of my fondest memories of college days. That place was an escape from our hectic uncertain lives, just like ময়ুরাক্ষী. In case you don’t know what that is, It is an imaginary comfort place a fictional character named “Himu” ( written by Humayun Ahmed) imagined whenever he felt tired or stressed or anxious. That tea stall of mine is no more. I don’t know what happened to that kind lady either. And after college, me and Jui parted ways too. But sometimes, I think about those days, think about this tea stall and how it also became a comfort place of my imagination now. And thus, I decided to name my Tea stall “ময়ুরাক্ষী” .
I designed A small, wooden tea stall that's easy to carry. It folds up, like a box, for travel. When open, it has shelves and a place to make tea. It's designed to be comfortable and quick to use, so you can sell tea anywhere.
