Concept Title: সুখের কোনো ভাড়া হয় না (There is no fare of happiness) 

Site: 60 Feet Road, Agargaon, Dhaka. 

We have selected a negative space behind the Bangladesh Film Archive Building in 60 feet road, Agargaon, Dhaka. There is an existing rickshaw stand on the site and a slum beside the site. There is a ditch beside the rickshaw stand We have designed the negative space at a corner of the rickshaw stand aside the ditch. We generated our design idea thinking about the rickshaw pullers. We know that they work hard for the whole day long and goes back home at mid night. So, we thought to design a space for them where they can be relaxed before going home. After the long working day, when they keeps there rickshaws at the rickshaw stand, they can be healed or relaxed at our designed space. We have design two long platforms where the can lay down for sometimes, they can play cards or carrom type games here, they can gossip here too by sitting together. We also designed some tea stalls for their refreshment. The will get tea, cigarettes and snacks here. There are 3 circular spaces in front of the platforms. In these spaces they can sing and gossip and enjoy themselves. Not only at night, they can use the space for there healing purpose equally in the day or night. In the day, when the get exhausted the can come here, can relax for sometimes and go to their work again. At night, they can keep there rickshaw here, can relax for sometimes and then go home for a peaceful sleep. All local materials are used here like bamboo, wood, tin etc.

So, our designed space can transform an exhausted man to a healed person. Additionally, the space can be utilized as a workplace for the people living in the slum that is mentioned before.
