Project Description
A once-forgotten tin shed, used for storing construction tools and sheltering laborers, has been transformed into a vibrant community healing space. The design encourages connection, creativity, play, and quiet reflection, turning a neglected corner into a lively hub of nature and activity.
The space features seven purposeful zones. The Carrom Zone revives traditional indoor games, connecting generations. A U-Shaped Sitting area offers cozy conversation and laughter. The Mini Book Corner provides a peaceful retreat for reading, while the Drawing Nook inspires artistic expression. Outdoor Green Sit-outs invite music, dialogue, or calm nature-gazing. The Swing Corner adds joyful movement, and the Open Front Zone encourages stretching, meditation, and mindful breathing.
Furniture and materials remain minimal and cost-conscious, using durable, urban-friendly elements like treated wood, metal, and textured finishes. This project proves that thoughtful design can transform forgotten spaces into places of shared joy, personal renewal, and community togetherness.
