Project Description
This project is a 3D documentary-type animated short film that follows the daily life of Nazim, a rickshaw puller of Bangladesh. The story begins at dawn as he wakes and prepares to leave his family behind, entering a cycle of labor and uncertainty. Moving from quiet countryside to the crowded bazaar, Nazim waits for passengers, often facing long periods of stillness and negotiation. As he finally begins his journey, the rhythm of motion reflects both persistence and struggle. Sudden rain transforms the environment, yet he continues working, emphasizing resilience under harsh conditions. By night, exhaustion sets in as he counts his small earnings, revealing the emotional weight of survival and responsibility. The narrative closes with a subtle but powerful reflection on sacrifice, where each coin carries the burden of a child’s future. The film blends stylized visuals with hand-painted textures and grounded realism to portray dignity, hardship, and endurance.
