Behind
FLUX
The city is seen in this picture as a multi-layered state that is always changing. The movement of a rickshaw peels back a plotted metropolitan surface, stretching like fabric to reveal the hidden reality beneath. A bird(impression of a Peacock most often seen in rickshaw hood) is gently formed by the tear, implying freedom, velocity, and the rickshaw's silent journey through the city.
A distinct story is revealed beneath the surface:
Remnants of rickshaw art, a weary but tenacious puller, crowded slum communities where rickshaw pullers belong, and the river at the source of relocation. The river, when it’s eroded it compels rural people to shape his lifestyle in cities and rickshaw puller’s life is one of the favourites.
In addition to transporting people throughout urban areas, rickshaws also convey unseen tales of hardship, adaptation, and survival. This dichotomy is reflected in flux, where lives in motion constantly modify the city and where movement is both connection and consequence.
