Project Description
Architecture has traditionally been used as a tool for ritual, power, and collective training. The project looks at space as a ceremonial machine that produces psychological obedience through rhythm, repetition, procession, and coordinated movement. The instrumental "Jantar Mantar" by Hirak Rajar Deshe served as the inspiration.
The architecture consists of a set of controlled spatial conditions. Massive chambers, ritualized movement, squeezed circulation, and repeated structural systems all contribute to the gradual dissolution of individuality into group synchrony. Through rhythmic procession, the body becomes a part of a larger system of spatial authority.
As the story intensifies, the architectural order begins to disintegrate. Symmetry dissolves, rhythm becomes erratic, and the ceremonial machine descends into spatial disarray. By revealing resistance through disintegration, transparency, and the restoration of individual liberty, the endeavor transitions from submission to emancipation.
