Project Description
The Sanctuary of Small Wonders
In the heart of a bustling city, a 10-cubic-meter miracle unfolds. This is a sanctuary designed for the children of the streets—those resilient souls left alone while their parents toil at work. We envisioned a space that bridges the gap between a playground and a classroom, turning the solitude of waiting into an odyssey of growth.
The narrative of the space is split between two worlds. On the educational wall, children find a blackboard for their first masterpieces, flanked by tactile tools like an abacus and games for basic early childhood development. Nearby, a bookshelf holds stories yet to be told, while an arched niche brings the soft serenity of greenery indoors through carefully placed flower pots.
Opposite this sits the wall of adventure. A curved climbing wall—dotted with sun-yellow grips—invites children to reach upward toward a suspended mesh hammock. For those seeking a different path, multifunctional LEGO-style building blocks form a playful staircase that doubles as tiered seating, leading to a sturdy ladder. Our motive is simple: to give underprivileged kids a fun, safe haven that builds their futures, one block at a time.
